Who handles your information

Liba Bröd AB is responsible for personal information on this website. Contact us at info@liba.se, +46 31 43 45 80, or Lärje Stationsgatan 1, 415 25 Göteborg, Sweden.

Enquiries, samples and complaints

When you submit a form, we receive the information you enter: contact and company details, delivery address where requested, product selections, and your message. Complaints may also include order details, batch numbers and an optional picture. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or unrelated people in your message or picture.

We use these details to respond, arrange samples, investigate a complaint or provide supplier documentation. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We also record the submission time and IP address to help investigate delivery problems and misuse. The form service limits repeated requests, and the web server records technical access and error logs.

Requests and pictures are saved in private server storage outside the public website and sent by email to the team handling the enquiry. If email delivery fails, the saved request stays queued for another attempt. When you provide an email address, we also send a confirmation. Our hosting, email and technical service providers process information to operate these services.

Legal basis and retention

Liba’s company privacy policy (Swedish PDF) describes consent, contractual obligations and legal requirements as the bases for processing, depending on the circumstances. Analytics consent is separate from submitting an enquiry.

The company policy limits retention to what is necessary for the purpose. Website requests, attached pictures and email correspondence require manual review and deletion; the form service does not automatically delete them when your enquiry is closed. To request deletion or ask how long a specific record is needed, contact us using the details above. Changing cookie preferences does not delete information you submitted in a form.

Website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, product specification downloads and successful sample, sales and documentation requests. The successful-request event is sent only after the server confirms that a request has been saved. It contains the form type, not your name, email address, message or picture.

Google receives usage information such as page addresses, referral sources, browser and device information, and pseudonymous cookie identifiers. Analytics is not loaded until you accept analytics cookies. Google advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag configuration. No Meta Pixel is currently configured on this website.

Google may process information outside the EU/EEA. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s information about international data transfers.

Cookies and your choice

The necessary liba_consent cookie remembers your choice for 182 days. If you accept analytics, Google may set _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to 390 days, renewed when you use the website. Browser storage also remembers whether you have dismissed our exhibition announcement.

You can reject non-essential cookies or change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further analytics collection by this tag and clears its analytics cookies; it does not erase information already collected.

Your rights

You can contact Liba to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, or a machine-readable copy where applicable. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations. You can also raise a concern with Sweden’s data protection authority, IMY.
